Revitalizing a classic neighborhood

Lafayette West is a 5.2-acre development planned for the historic Lafayette Park neighborhood designed by Mies van der Rohe that will bring 374 new residential units and retail to the area. Units will be both for-rent and for-sale and will include lofts, townhouses, and flats. Highrise construction was conceptualized to include the LIFTbuild system to assemble each of the tower’s 10 stories at-grade prior to lifting each floor into its final position.

The LIFTbuild residential tower on site was to include 140 units, including 24 for-purchase condos and 120 rentable units. The tower featured resident amenities and retail. Initial programming of the entire site also included a park-like setting and pre-cast parking structure for residents and guests.

Our team worked with the client to the viability, pre-design, and delivery planning phases of this project.
